I know many of you space artists probably recognise this one from coldflames tutorial. I used it as a reference for painting this picture, it is just for practising my painting skills. Not very original but yeah... I'm not really sure about the stars though, so comment and critiques are very welcome.

dude die donkere wolken zijn super vet! mooie diepte zit erin .. je nexus is ook heel goed.. ziet er eigenlijk gewoon mooi uit! zeker voor een oefening props!

het is het waard! enige tip die ik nu ff kan geven is je sterren.. misschien werken aan meer sterren? dan creeër je sneller een ruime en grotere omgeving (vooral kleine starfields enzo).. maar prima piece

Not bad, not bad!
Keep in mind the essentially gassy nature of what nebulas are, when you paint them. Your form-work around the edges is well done, but the coloured area in the middle, containing the rings, needs some variation of transparency. It's a criticism I would make of that tutorial in general, actually.
I only just did my first attempt at painting a nebula, without using a tutorial, so I'm not one to talk - and free advice is worth what you pay for it

Also use a smaller brush in some areas to make some smaller, finer details
